Opened the C: Program Files (x86) InstallShield 2016 SetupPrerequisites folder in Windows Explorer 2. Opened the Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Express System CLR Types (x86).prq with NotePad 3. Ran NotePad as Administrator and opened the Microsoft ReportViewer 2015.prq 4. Copied the Windows 10 operating system entry under from the CLR Types file. Windows 10 ($150 at Amazon) has been around for years, but lots of people have only recently made the switch since Microsoft ended support for Windows 7 back in January (you can still download. Cannot view animated WebP images in Windows Photo Viewer (Windows 7) I've noticed recently that websites or browsers now show animated image files as WebP images instead of GIFs. Whenever I save them I notice in my folder in Windows Explorer, there is no image preview like there was with GIFs - it's just the generic image thumbnail. The problem is, when I drop the report viewer tool onto my form, it doesn't open the report view. Instead, it goes to the bottom of the form, just like the timer tool does. I double click on it and it does nothing. I followed the same steps on VS 2017 and was able to create a report.

The Microsoft Report Viewer control is compatible with SQL Server Reporting Services and Power BI Report Server that follow the Microsoft modern support lifecycle policy. This information applies to both the ASP.NET and WinForms versions distributed through NuGet. All released versions are available through NuGet. Patches, features, or other updates are rolled-forward to the latest version. Latest versions must be applied to receive changes. The Report Viewer continues to receive Security and Critical Updates, with at least one year advanced notice of any support policy changes.
